Examining referral patterns and outcomes for forced migrants in contact with Talking Therapy (formerly IAPT) services
Forced migrants (asylum seekers and refugees) have higher rates of mental health problems but often face difficulties accessing talking treatments. Evidence is also unclear which type of therapy is most useful. This study will use CRIS data linked to Lambeth primary care records to examine who is receiving talking therapy in this population; looking at patterns in service use and relevant outcomes.
