Examining the clinical correlates of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) in CAMHS.
Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is associated with high levels of psychiatric ill health and neurodevelopmental disorders in sufferers, alongside negative outcomes in many domains of life, including education, employment and criminality. This project aims to improve the detection of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in high risk populations and understand more about how these disorders affect young people, with the ultimate aim of improving assessment and treatment.
