Examining the clinical correlates of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) in CAMHS
Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is associated with high levels of psychiatric ill health and neurodevelopmental disorders in sufferers, alongside negative outcomes in many domains of life, including education, employment and criminality. This project aims to understand more about how these disorders affect young people, especially in relation to self-harm and suicidal behavior, with the ultimate aim of improving detection and assessment in high risk populations.
