Experiences in CAMHS of young people with a social worker: A qualitative interview study | C4C

Evidence suggests children and young people with a social worker (CYPwSW) often experience higher rates of mental illness than their non-care experienced peers, however, their access and engagement with CAMHS is poorly understood. We will conduct qualitative interviews with up to 60 children and young people (aged 12-18) with social work involvement who have been referred to CAMHS in the South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust in the period 2007-2021.
