Exploring Worry in the Context of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS): A Qualitative Study

  • Applicant: Ellen Rhodes
  • Project ID: 25-045

Research has shown a link between worry and fatigue, and a recent study carried out in SLaM’s Persistent Physical Symptoms Unit showed that many people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome were struggling with worry and that CBT appeared to help. This study is aiming to better understand worry in this context by interviewing people who have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and struggle with worry, with the hope that we could improve treatments.
