Exposure to risk and adversity among children and young people with autism spectrum disorder: examining sex differences using a network approach

  • Applicant: Nicole Marshall
  • Project ID: 22-065

Children and young people with autism spectrum disorder experience more early risk and adversity than non-autistic peers, yet differences between autistic girls and autistic boys remain unclear. This project aims to examine sex differences in the experiences of risk and adversity among autistic children, as well comparing these experiences to those of other children involved in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).
