This study aims to explore the relationship between Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Gender Dysphoria in adolescents aged between 13-17. This study will examine internal characteristics associated with ASD; focusing on emotion regulation, cognitive rigidity and body emotional investment and the impact they have on mediating the relationship between gender dysphoria and gender-related distress.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
