HIV risk and outcomes for people using mental health services

Health inequalities in people with mental illness are common but there has been little research specifically on HIV inequalities. This study will examine which marginalised, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups living with mental illness are more at risk of acquiring HIV, and which groups are more likely to have poor HIV outcomes.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
