Household stressors and mental health service use in Southeast London
Most studies of NHS mental health care inequalities in the UK focus only on characteristics of service users, i.e. there is limited/no information on local context. This is an important limitation to trying to understand mental health inequalities in areas with high levels of diversity and socioeconomic disadvantage. This study will re-use the linkage of CRIS with individual data from the South East London Community Health (SELCoH) study, collected in 2008-2010 to look at what factors shape patterns of mental health care access and treatment receipt.
