IM Clozapine Dose Concentration Analysis

  • Applicant: Ndaba Mazibuko
  • Project ID: 23-026

Intramuscular (IM) clozapine has significant potential for the treatment of individuals with Treatment Resistant Schizophrenia (TRS), however it remains under-prescribed as data on its pharmacokinetics (PK) and clinical use is limited, and the current formulation is not optimal practically. This study will investigate time-adjusted dose vs plasma concentration for IM clozapine and then for oral clozapine in same patients, comparing these levels within each individual.
