Mental Health consequences of AIR pollution (mh-AIR)
The short and long term effect of air pollution has not been adequately quantified and therefore there is an urgent need to understand how air pollution influences mental health. We aim to link air pollution exposure metrics (NOx, NO2, O3, PM2.5 and PM10) at the residential address level and explore potential links between short and long-term air pollutant exposures with depression, psychosis, schizophrenia and anxiety within the South East London population.
