Mental health service use by individuals with autism spectrum conditions

  • Applicant: Freya Rumball
  • Project ID: 19-097

Autism spectrum conditions affect 1% of the population. Rates of comorbid mental health conditions are extremely high in this clinical group (> 65% of individuals have at least one comorbidity), yet people with autism often report difficulties accessing mental health services and support. This project aims to use CRIS data to understand mental health service use by people with autism, focusing particularly on service access and clinical outcomes.
