Mirtazapine use in adolescents and risk of suicidality
For a number of years there have been concerns about the use of antidepressants in children and adolescents. This study aims to compare the mirtazapine-treated adolescents to those treated with usual care antidepressants with respect to risk of suicide and self-harm. We also aim to describe the use of these drugs in this population and make recommendations for future practice.
