Outcomes following self-harm presentations in patients receiving care from older adult liaison services

  • Applicant: Robert Stewart
  • Project ID: 25-087

Self-harm is particularly concerning in older people because of the suspected high risk of subsequent suicide; however, we don’t know very much about routine self-harm in people who receive general hospital care, how they are managed and followed and what happens afterwards. This study will investigate these questions in people who have received care from SLaM’s four older adult liaison services.
