Pain and mental disorder co-occurrence in two datasets

The purpose of this project is mainly to test some new computer software that allows researchers to carry out the same analysis using information from different sources without having to move the information. In this case, we will be testing the software by investigating the relationship between conditions that cause pain and mental health conditions using both the CRIS (South London and Maudsley) platform and data from medical care in the USA. We will be trying to answer the same questions using similar information but keeping the information secure in its original locations.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
