Predicting onset and characterising risk for obsessive-compulsive, neurodevelopmental and related psychiatric disorders using electronic health records
Currently, we cannot predict why some children with mild obsessive-compulsive or attention-deficit hyperactivity symptoms will later develop a diagnosis, nor which treatments will work best for them once they do.
This project will use anonymized clinical records to develop tools that predict who will progress to a diagnosis, identify clinically meaningful subtypes within these conditions, and determine how treatment history shapes symptom trajectories over time.
