Prediction of subsequent high-intensity care shortly after referral

We previously found that a range of characteristics collected in the first three months after first SLaM contact could be put together to predict those who went on to need higher intensity care from services in the following 12 months. This project will investigate this further and see whether there might be scope for feeding this information back to clinical services in order to provide more personalised care.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
