Prevalence and clinical characteristics of the recording of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) in linked routinely collected electronic health records

  • Applicant: Asaad Baksh
  • Project ID: 26-040

Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) is a global health problem, and present in every country where it is investigated, however research examining the recording of CSEA in secondary services in the UK is limited. This project will explore the prevalence and clinical characteristics of the recording of CSEA in the general population and those who previous research has shown to be at higher risk of abuse such as children with intellectual disability (ID).
