Psychosis CAG pathway development

  • Applicant: James MacCabe
  • Project ID: 19-093

To provide information to the CAG to allow commissioning decisions and inform patient care. CRIS will be used to develop a data model with the intention to deploy to Trust services via COGSTACK. . CogStack is an information retrieval and extraction platform developed by researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre. It implements search, natural language processing, analytics and visualisation technologies to unlock the health record and assist in clinical decision making and research. We are hoping the CogStack team alongside the CRIS team can help us to visualise information from a variety of data sources to better understand the population with psychosis and support both CAG (Psychosis) strategy and commissioning, and frontline clinical decision making.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
