Remote assessment of Disease and Relapse in Central Nervous System Disorders (RADAR-CNS): displaying health data in a mobile app | C4C

  • Applicant: Sara Simblett
  • Project ID: 20-019

Reasoning: Our research to date suggests that providing users of apps with feedback could facilitate engagement and may present opportunities for intervention via the app (e.g., raising awareness of patterns of symptoms, prompting appointment with healthcare professionals; see Simblett el at., 2018, 2019a, 2019b, 2019c), and the way in which this feedback is presented may be crucial to the experience of using a system. What the project will do: arrange focus groups to elicit qualitative information that will explore how people with MS, epilepsy and depression think health data should be displayed in a smartphone app.
