Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) affects 7% of the European population, and has a typical trajectory of relapse and remission. The Remote Assessment of Disease and Relapse- MDD (RADAR-MDD) study, as part of a larger, pan-European consortium project (Remote Assessment of Disease and Relapse- Central Nervous System; RADAR-CNS) aims to use remote measurement technology (RMT), including smartphone apps and wearable fitness trackers, to track current MDD symptomatology and predict future clinical states.
