Sequenced High Intensity Psychotherapies as a Strategised Health Approach for dePrEssion treatment non-responders/Patients with unresolved depression (SHIP-SHAPE)

  • Applicant: Kate Watchorn
  • Project ID: 16-092

This trial aims to determine the next best steps for IAPT patients with depression who have not improved after completing a first course of high-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We are interested in investigating if further treatment is justified; if so, which path gives these patients the best chance of recovery: switching to a different therapy or reviewing and reformulating within their current therapy?
