Suicidality, self-harm and completed suicide in people with dementia
Suicide in dementia is a rare event, but has recently gained more attention through the suicide of the actor Robin Williams in the context of dementia with Lewy bodies. This project aims to explore how many, and which, patients with dementia experience suicidal ideation, as well as how recognition of suicidal ideation changes over time and how it might affect outcomes (including self-harm or completed suicide).
