The effect of PM2.5, PM10 and NOx air pollution and particulate matter on hippocampal subfield volume: a retrospective cohort study.

This project will look at whether being exposed to traffic-related air pollution is linked to change in size of the specific hallmark areas of the brain that have been previously linked to dementia. This will help to explain the association between air pollution and increased risk of dementia and begin to explore possible reasons for this link.
