Annually, around 250,000 people claim unemployment or sickness related benefits because they have a mental health difficulty. This project will explore the interrelationships between receiving benefits, employment status, mental health difficulties, treatment, well-being and recovery using a linked dataset.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
