The Lambeth Living Well Network (LLWN) Hub Evaluation

  • Applicant: Andy Healey
  • Project ID: 18-029

The Lambeth Living Well Network Hub, which opened in June 2015, was the first significant Lambeth Collaborative integrated initiative to support wider system transformation to radically improve the outcomes for people with mental health needs. Its aim was to support more people in primary care at an earlier point, by offering a shared care approach with GPs, supporting people across their health and social care needs when experiencing difficulties. The premise being that this would reduce activity within secondary care and hence save money across the system that can be re-invested to support this preventative approach. The aims of this project is to evaluate whether the Hub has reduced referral rates into secondary care mental health services provided by SLaM.
