The treatment journeys of children and young people with school attendance difficulties at CAMHS

Many children and young people with school attendance difficulties also experience mental health difficulties. However, little is known about how Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) support them, including how they access help and whether they face barriers to attending CAMHS appointments. This project will explore how receiving CAMHS support influences their mental health and school attendance over time.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
