The aim of this pilot investigation is to explore the potential for use of routinely collected patient data to analyse aggregated outcomes in patient treatment within the Addictions Directorate. Primary Objectives 1. To explore the utility of statutory recording instruments and internal data fields for routine audit purposes. 2. To explore the utility of Insight and CRIS databases for the routine extraction and compilation of outcomes data for audit purposes. Secondary Objectives 2. To determine the best method for the compilation of outcomes data for routine audit purposes. 3. To develop a pilot proforma for routine analysis of outcomes at the individual clinician, service, and treatment modality levels. 4. To determine the quality and consistency of data recorded from statutory instruments on the ePJS system.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
