There are no major breakthroughs on the horizon in the field of pharmacotherapy or psychotherapy for the rapid treatment of depression without any significant side effects. This study aims to recruit participants with depression for a randomised controlled trial of triple chronotherapy (combined wake, sleep phase advance and light therapy) versus a control treatment on Consent for Contact and evaluate feasibility in the community and treatment adherence.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
