Understanding infectious disease mortality in people with severe mental illness

  • Applicant: Amy Ronaldson
  • Project ID: 23-061

There is evidence to suggest that people with severe mental illness (SMI) have a higher chance of dying from infection than people without SMI, but very little is known about why this is. This project will use largescale electronic health records to understand infectious disease mortality in people with SMI, and the factors involved.
