Understanding the effects of the PDE4 inhibitor Roflumilast on memory in schizophrenia | C4C

  • Applicant: Fiona Patrick
  • Project ID: 20-029

This study is designed to see whether taking a short course (8 days) of medication called Rofumilast can improve cognitive performance (improving cognitive performance could help with things like memory and concentration, the ability to make plans and develop strategies, or even just doing day-to-day activities). Previous studies have suggested that this medication could also improve some mental processing abilities, such as memory and mental flexibility (which is the ability to switch between different thoughts or processes quickly).
