Urban mental health in psychosis

  • Applicant: Sumithra Velupillai
  • Project ID: 18-104

Urban environments can be an important risk factor for developing a psychotic disorder, but there have been few studies investigating the association between geographic location information (such as social deprivation, population density, air pollution and access to clinical services) and psychosis. In this study, we will use computational techniques to analyse these types of associations to understand if these contribute to better or worse clinical outcomes.
