Using Electronic Health Records to assess the impact of Covid-19 on mental health-related presentations to accident and emergency

  • Applicant: Rina Dutta
  • Project ID: 20-058

Little is known about the context in which Covid-19 has been recorded for people who have attended accident and emergency departments with mental health issues during the pandemic and lockdown in the UK. This study aims to outline the Covid-19 related context and behaviours of people, both with and without known pre-existing mental health problems, recorded when they presented at accident and emergency departments with mental health issues.
