Bipolar Disorder type I is a severe mental health disorder of complex symptoms with patients being seen across various psychiatric services. To facilitate recruitment for an observational study investigating treatment response to lithium (the R-Link initiative; (https://rlink.eu.com/), this project aims at identifying which services use lithium in the pharmacological treatment of individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder type I.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
