Sometimes services disagree about who is best placed to help a child; this can delay a child receiving appropriate help. The qualitative element of this project aims to explore how interpretations of “safeguarding” thresholds differ between CAMHS and Children’s Services, whilst the quantitative component seeks to understand the characteristics of children whose referral from CAMHS to Children’s Services does not lead to intervention.<br/><br/>
