We have recently developed a technique to find out when people are described in their records as ‘non-adherent’ with treatments - this term is used to describe situations where people aren’t taking treatments in the way they are prescribed (for whatever reason). As a first step, for people with a recent diagnosis of schizophrenia, we are planning to investigate whether these 'non-adherence' statements predict worse outcomes.<br/>
